Blazer, Tahoe, Suburban, third brake lamp on camper shell.

Here is a pic of the new third brake lamp I put on my Camper shell, I used the one from the
Blazer, Tahoe, Suburban, because I liked the LED look, Soon I will have a nite pic to add.

I hooked it up using the OEM CHMSL fuse in the underhood fuse block,
I traced out the wire that went to the CHMSL on the cab,
Problem 1:
The wire changes color when It goes through the firewall connector.
Underhood, the wire is green/red, in the cab it is yellow.
Problem 2:
Wasn't really a problem, I just had to run a wire from the underhood
fuse block to the back of the truck and up into the shell, I went along
the frame and zip tied it to the OEM harness
To prevent blowing fuses, I removed the 2 CHMSL bulbs from the OEM cab lamp.

Just incase you don't know what CHMSL means, it stands for:
Center High Mount Stop Lamp.
