Adding an amp, Phase 1, P2

Below left you can see the radio pulled out, while doing this, If you listen to the radio (like me), make sure you use a towel to protect the HVAC controls from scratching.
You can see the wire taps on the main wires below, You cannot see the ground wire I had to attach to the dash frame, this wire is for the lo-level adaptor, and is necessary for reliable operation.
The whole assembly tucks neatly behind the radio and everything bolts back together nicely.


Above right is the main power wire to the amp, the fuse was mounted on the side of the relay box lid (works kinda like a leash, I've lost covers before). The wire runs below the brake booster and through the rubber harness connector, this is tight fitting due to the thickness of the rubber, after running the wire I covered the entry with 3M rubberized undercoating, whitch seals up nicely.
