Adding an amp, Phase 1
To add an amp to a stock stereo you need a Lo-level adaptor,
This converts the high power signal from the head unit
to a lo level signal the amp can use.
Below is a detailed list with wire information on how I installed my amp and box.
Here are the plugs on the back of the radio, there are 2 stacked on top of each other, and 1 more if you have the remote tape deck, The remote harness is not used so I am not showing it.

I tapped into the following wires for input to the lo-level adaptor and the remote on for the amp:
