Installing KC 100W Daylighters

Installing KC 100W Daylighters P3

It's hard to see but the ground wires to the lamps were connected and ground to the right hood latch mount bolt. the red wires were also connected and routed to the red wire I ran earlier from relay terminal #87.

At this piont I covered all the wiring with black conduit tubing, the kit came with a bunch (more than needed) so I covered every wire possiple to prevent rubbing and eventual shorting. I taped all conduit ends to the wires, and to each other to prevent gaps. It came out looking very profesional (I take pride in my work, I do work at a dealership).

After any job I test it, theese look pretty bright, I tried them later after it got dark out on a lonly road (to aim them, officer) Theese things make it look like daytime wherever they are pointed. GOOD they live up to thier name.

The whole install took about 3 hours, the kit included all hardware needed, however I did replace all the wires on the lamp side of the circut with 14 gauge wire, the kit came with 16 gauge and I wanted something more capable (I hate electrical fires). I also replaced the switch, see my Custom switch panel page for more details on this project.
