I wired it just like the schematic, only I made one modification, the power wire that went to the battery instead went to the alternate power terminal on the front of the underhood fuse/relay box. I ran it to the front radiator support where there was a hole perfect for mounting the relay, Mounted the relay, then hooked the power wire up to the #30 terminal on the relay. Then I ran the red wire from relay terminal #87 through the radiator support, and under the radiator air diverter to the space between the grille and radiator.
The green wire I ran from terminal #85 on the relay, over to the firewall and across to the VCM. I took a coat hanger, straightened it out, and pulled up a small piece of passenger floor carpet. the space where the antenna cable goes through the firewall is great for running wires into the passenger compartment. I poked through the gromet and pushed the hanger up towards the VCM, with a little persuasion the hanger cane up and I taped the green wire to it, pulled the hanger and wire through the gromet, and routed it to a Custom switch panel I made where the OEM tape deck was. click HERE to see more details.
