I began my career working on cars at a Pennzoil 10 minute oil change in 1989
After 4 years I got a job offer at Lyons Automotive, where I
started learning more than changing oil, eventually I became pretty good at auto repair.
Also, this is where I passed the BAR California Smog Technician licence exam, and got my smog licence.
Four and 1/2 years later I got the FOOL Idea in my head that I wanted to work on computers.
I wound up working for my friend Mark at Delta PC Inc, Now Apollo Internet, and after one month I quit.
I learned how to build computers, and still repair my own on occasion.
I also learned HTML and still author all my web pages, I do all my own artwork myself, so all the images you see here were done
by me and Adobe photoshop.

After two months of being unemployed I got a job at Bacons Auto Service, A Ford (YUK) specialty shop.
March 1998 I met my soon to be wife Shannon.
Nine months after that I got a call from the General Manager at Fladeboe Chevrolet Oldsmobile in San Rafael (Now Team Chevrolet).
I started working there two weeks later
It was here that I PDI'd a 1999 Chevrolet, Metallic Blue, extended cab,
S-10, ZR2, Holy Shit this thing was great! I knew I wanted one.
I fell in love, I asked, she said yes,
After nine months at Fladeboe, General Motors decided to buy out the owner,
Motors Holdings, (GM's buyout divsion) bought and moved us to Corte Madera.
Marin Chevrolet was born, and it sucked!
However it was here that I finally got my ZR2.
At invoice, W/$1500 cash back and 2.9%APR I think I got a good deal.
In January 2000, I quit Marin Chevrolet. Novato Chevrolet called in December 1999
January 14, I started work there. It WAS great.
In December 1999 we found out Shannon was pregnant (HURRAY!)
Ultrasound indicated it was a girl, GREAT!
Lilja Anna Marie Joan Westover was born 9/24/00.
Here's how we came up with her name,
Lilja, is Shannons Grandmothers first name from her mom's side (Icelandic spelling).
Anna, well I dunno why Anna is in there, but it seems to tie it all together pretty good.
Marie, is Shannons other Grandmothers first name, on her Fathers side.
Joan, is my mothers name
Westover, is of course our last name.

Shortly after Lilja was born, I got a job offer in Chico, Ca. A shop there saw
My resume on the internet and called. We moved to Chico, Ca. and I started working
At that shop late 2000.
After working in Chico for almost a year I got a offer to move back to the bay.
A local shop wanted to hire me at $8 hr MORE than I was currently made.
mid 2001 we moved back to the bay. Just before we moved, we found out Shannon was
Pregnant AGAIN!!
Time to sell the ZR2, Damm, Oh Well. Within 7 months I traded the Z for a 1996 GMC S-15 Jimmy
