Shave spare tire mount / Website decals

Shave spare tire mount / Website decals

Prepping my Jimmy for my roof rack, I shaved the stock spare
tire rack from the rear of my Jimmy. I decided to try to patch
the holes left from the spare tire rack, by covering them up with
decal material. I contacted Rog (rogerbaby on the zr2.com UBB) with
my idea, and gave him measurments for the decals needed to cover
the holes left from the rack. Delivered, these cost me less than
$25.00

Measurments for the decals are:
T.B.A. I have to look up the measurments in my notes.

The center of the tailgate looks pretty good, I still have to buff out
some of the rough spots from my decal prep.

The lower fender looks great, I expected it to be the hardest
because of the body curve, but I was able to work out akll the wrinkles.

The top part of the fender looks horrible. I tried to reinforce
the holes with chunks I cut off a different sticker, and the results
were horrible. The sticker pieces are very visable so I plan on
re doing it. Also, the curve of the fender was too much for the decal
so I tried to cut it in two pieces, which would have worked if I had
not tried to reinforce the holes with stickers.

I also installed some -www.gm-offroad.com- decals. I sell theese decals at cost
OR you can contact rog direct and order one for yourself.
The small ones cost me $7.00, and the big one on the back of my tailgate cost me $15.00.

I will get some better pics of theess, AFTER I get the Jimmy
washed and have a day with more sun.
