
Here is how I installed it.

First, loosten the serp belt and remove the belt loop around the A/C compressor.


Remove the 4 bolts that hold the A/C compressor to it's mounting bracket.


Then, remove the harness connectors that go to the A/C compressor clutch
and the pressure switch on the back of the compressor.
You should now be able to pull the compressor up and
out of the way.
**DO NOT DISCONNECT THE PRESSURE HOSES ON THE TOP OF THE COMPRESSOR**
This is dangerous, and it is illegal to vent the refrigerant
to the atmosphere. Just leave the hoses connected, and move
the compressor to the side.


Next, remove the hose that leads to the EGR passegway in the
intake manifold (see red arrow), coat the restrictor threads with
antiseize, screw it in place of the tube, and screw the tube into
the restrictor.
Now re-install everything you previously removed, and test drive.
on some '00 and newer engines, the SES light may come on after
a short drive, if it stays on after a few days have passed, remove the
restrictor and drill it out 3/16".
